The wool lining is a 100% pure new wool woven with the colours and hues of nature and handcrafted by Harris Tweed in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. You will find the vibrant colours of moss, lichen, spruce and pine needles, grasses, and sedges all infused into this rich woolen fabric. By adding the wool lining, you are provided natural insulation, odor resistance, and a truly traditional archery product. The little extra warmth when sitting in the great outdoors, as a placement aid in organizing and preparation your outfit, as well as hundreds of other uses that a wool and waxed canvas ground cloth will offer years of use.
This 18 oz Martexin Original Waxed twill canvas (exclusive Martexin® finish) in ranger tan colour is a highly water resistant waxed cotton fabric and stands up well against wet and dirt. Martexin Original Wax is an environmentally friendly blend of food and pharmaceutical grade waxes, and is completely non-hazardous. This unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to inclement weather and as the fabric ages, it develops a well-worn patina. The patina develops with more and more use, in the same manner that leather ages and burnishes with time.
The Trad Pad features 2 eyelets and is approximately 25” wide by 40” long. The Trad Pad has been imagined, designed and sewn here in Alberta, Canada and as each one is handcrafted no two are exactly alike. Some differences and imperfections are part the handcrafted process to give you a personalized product.
Martexin Original Wax is a highly specialized textile that does not require normal cleaning. Similar to not washing leather products such as shoes, gloves, or jackets, you shouldn't wash or dry clean Martexin Original Wax. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing. A periodic spot cleaning with a damp cloth is all that is needed. Bare areas can be refinished with Martexin Original Wax compound to help restore the wax finish.
